The hills of Pianella

Pianella lies on the hills inland from Pescara, an area known for its olive oil. This land is what gives the estate, and its oil, their character.

The estate’s olive trees seen from above, on the hills, with the mountains behind.

From our grandparents to today

The tradition begins in the 1960s, with our grandparents: the land, the olive trees, the oil for the house.

Then, for ten years, the estate stood still. Today it has started again with the same idea as then: make little, and make it well.

How we work

Small productions
We choose the quantity we can follow closely, rather than large volumes.
Time for every step
Every step, from the tree to the bottle, has its own pace: we respect it.
Harvesting
Semi-mechanised
The harvest: nets spread under the olive trees and people at work between the rows.

The lavender field

Next to the olive trees there is a field of lavender. The plants are still young: we look after them at the same pace, one season at a time.
